Air foil meaning

Air foil definition

An aerodynamic device used to improve traction by increasing the downward force on either end of the car. It can be compared to an airplane wing with this primary difference: a wing is designed to provide lift so it can fly; the air foil pushes the car closer to the ground. Although they may be called "wings," they are properly air foils. They increase the cornering ability, improve stability, but add aerodynamic drag .
